1 Dead Following Crash On Route 3 In Hingham

HINGHAM, MA — One person has died following a single-car crash in Hingham Friday Morning, reported NBC Boston. Massachusetts State Police, assisted by Hingham and Rockland firefighters, responded to a report of a crash on Route 3 south near Exit 35 at approximately 7:20 a.m. The driver, whose name has not been released, was extricated from the vehicle before it burst into flames and was taken to South Share Hospital in Weymouth, where they were pronounced dead, said police. No further information is available at this time and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
