NEW ROCHELLE, NY — At just after 8 p.m. on Saturday, New Rochelle police officers answered a 911 call about shots fired in a residential neighborhood near Rockdale Avenue. When police arrived, there was no evidence of any injuries or property damage, but officers did find four 9 mm bullet casings in the road in front of a nearby home. Detectives have been assigned to the case. An investigation into the weekend gunplay continues. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call New Rochelle Police at 914-654-2300.
