GENERAL INFO: - Hiring FRAMING SUBCONTRACTOR to frame up 30' x 19' (570 sf) single-story addition in Gaithersburg, MD. - Existing house is a 30' x 26' (780 sf) single-story house and we are adding on 19' to the back. - Drawings and photos attached. Approved construction drawings available by email. - Already have building permit. - Slab-on-grade foundation to be completed by 4/14. - Start framing as soon as 4/15. - Materials provided by owner. - All work on existing house by others, with the exception of cutting off the existing eave, if it conflicts where it may conflict with the new framing. SCOPE OF WORK: - Provide labor and tools to frame new addition per code - Pass framing inspection - Exterior 2x6 walls - Wind bracing - House wrap - Interior 2x4 walls - Blocking for drywall, cabinets, closets and towel bars - Ceiling joists - Rafters and ridge ("T" into existing roof) - Sheathing - Fascia - Frame openings for 3 windows and 1 door BUDGET: - $4,000 Labor. 2 guys 5 days.
