MCPS Offering More Meal Distribution Sites

ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) on Monday officially expanded its meal distribution sites and is now offering its Grab + Go meals at 11 designated bus sites: eight of which are secondary and elementary schools and three are non-MCPS sites. Meals are available from 11:30 a.m. to 12: 30 p.m. every weekday, except for Wednesdays. Tuesday is a double meal day and Friday is a triple meal day. At the point of service, those picking up meals are required to have their tally sheet. Names and Pin #s will not be sufficient. The MCPS school bus sites are: Emory Grove Center, 18100 Washington Grove Lane in GaithersburgGreencastle Elementary School, 13611 Robey Road in Silver SpringHarmony Ellis Elementary School, 13407 Lydia Street in Silver SpringNew Hampshire Estates Elementary School, 8720 Carroll Avenue in Silver SpringShady Grove Middle School, 8100 Midcounty Highway in GaithersburgSouth Lake Elementary School, 18201 Contour Road in GaithersburgSummit Hall Elementary School, 101 West Deer Park Road in GaithersburgThe non-MCPS Grab + Go sites are: Governor Square Apartments, 409 Muddy Branch Road in GaithersburgMiddlebrook Mobile, 19515 Frederick Road in GermantownRockville Housing, 1251 First Street in Rockville Additionally, students now can pick up meals at the Up County Early Childhood Center in Rockville, though the pickup time is from 11:30 a.m. to noon.
