wanted: small puppy

Hi everyone. I’m looking for a small pet that won’t grow very much. Our dog passed away February 11th and left a really big void in us. My mom especially who he was very close to. His death was sudden and it has taken us a long time to recover, but we’re ready for another one. He was our first pet and even though we said we’d never get another one because his death was incredibly hard on all of us, we feel he changed our lives and now can’t imagine not having one. We miss being greeted at the door. Our home feels so empty, quiet and sad without him. We miss him jumping at us, playing with us, acting like a hooman instead of a dog. His name was Avalanche. This in no way is us replacing him. We just want to fill our home with that love only a pet can offer. Please let us know if you know of anyone who may help. We are more than willing to pay rehoming fee as long as it’s within our budget. Our previous pet was 10-15lbs so something small like him would be ideal.
