Madam CJ Walker Louisiana Juneteenth Celebration weekend will be comprised of a historical street naming ceremony, parade, and music fest. The LOUISIANA JUNETEENTH ASSOCIATION is delighted to invite you to participate in our Madam CJ Walker Louisiana Juneteenth Celebration parade and music festival. This is an official state event sponsored by Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser, the Louisiana Office of Tourism, State Representative C. Travis Johnson, State Representative Fred Jones, and State Senator Katrina Jackson. This parade is the biggest parade in Northeast Louisiana and will be like no other parade in the nation! It will be a time capsule featuring pivotal moments in history from 1863 to 2021. The parade will take place Saturday, June 19th @ 10am on EE Wallace Blvd in Ferriday, LA . The music festival will take place at Stewart -Clark Memorial Park in Jonesville, LA from 12:00pm-8:00pm and will be an event full of joy, great music, food, and fun!
