MORRISTOWN, NJ — Do you have any unused, unwanted, or expired prescription medicine laying around? Residents of Morris County will be able to drop them off during Operation Take Back on April 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. The semi-annual event will be held at four shopping locations in Randolph, Cedar Knolls, Morris Plains, and Hanover, where the public will be able to anonymously turn over any prescription medicine they want to get rid of. Authorities will afterward collect the discarded prescription drugs and properly destroy them. Before or after the event, the public can also turn over unwanted prescription drugs by using one of the permanent drop box locations listed here.
