Firm Foundations has partnered with Northridge Middle to celebrate Global Youth Service Day, a day for young people everywhere to volunteer. Firm Foundations Youth & Family Outreach has partnered with Northridge Middle School to celebrate Global Youth Service Day on Saturday April 24th. Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) is an annual celebration of young volunteers around the world. It is designed to encourage youth to participate in community service and service-learning and to honor those who have contributed to their communities through voluntary commitment. We are inviting youth, families and mentors to come join us for a day of service at Northridge Middle School as we participate in a variety of service projects. Projects will primarily take place outside and will consist of gardening, painting and a list of other projects that will help provide an uplifting and motivating school environment for students and school faculty. Service activities start promptly at 9:30am. Check-in will begin at 9:00am. If you have any questions or comments, please email Kim Roseboro at [email protected].
