Ocean County Artists' Guild, Island Heights NJ, is running Summer Filmmaking Institute the week of June 28. Students ages 13-19 years old can register now at https://www.ocartistsguild.org/workshops The course provides an introduction to the theories and techniques of digital movie making. With the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology, students will design, shoot, and edit films of their own creation. Each student will produce two of their own film and contribute to one larger-scale production. The daily schedule will include lectures, equipment training, on-set production, and editing. Final films are celebrated in a festival screening at the end of the week and will be open to everyone at the Ocean County Artists' Guild. More info at: summerfilmmakinginstitute.com
