BumbleBee Foundation, a pediatric cancer organization, will host their inaugural Golf Tournament on June 21 at Sunset Hills Country Club. The BumbleBee Foundation, a pediatric cancer organization, is pleased to announce their inaugural Golf Tournament, sponsored by Total Environmental Management, on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Sunset Hills Country Club in Thousand Oaks, CA. Funds from this tournament will directly benefit local children diagnosed with cancer. “Having a child diagnosed with cancer is scary and overwhelming. Even more so during a global pandemic,” said Heather Donatini, Executive Director of the BumbleBee Foundation. “Many parents were already facing financial hardships before the COVID-19 pandemic and they now need your help more than ever.” The BumbleBee Foundation hopes to raise $80,000 during the event. All funds raised will go directly toward their Patient Aid Program that assists pediatric cancer families with medical bills, unpaid time off work, car payments, rent and much more. “Proceeds from the golf tournament will allow our BumbleBee families to breathe. We help keep roofs overhead and utilities on so parents can focus on what’s most important – their child.” Donatini said. “Our goal is to lift their spirits and give them something to look forward to.” The BumbleBee Foundation and Sunset Hills Country Club look forward to hosting a safe event, in conjunction with the County’s guidelines.
