PLEASANTON, CA — Three people have been arrested after two Pleasanton residents were robbed at gunpoint Saturday afternoon. The arrestees were: Michael Walker III, 19 of Richmond; Raymond Davis III, 18, of San Pablo; and a 17-year-old whose name has not been released because he is a minor. Walker and Davis were booked into Santa Rita Jail, while the minor was booked into Alameda County Juvenile Hall. The victims returned home from shopping around 1 p.m. Saturday and had begun to get out of their car when an armed man approached the driver and demanded his wallet, Pleasanton police said in a statement. The passenger was approached by another person, who stole her watch and groceries, police said. The men ran to a nearby car, where someone was waiting in the driver's seat and drove them away from the scene, police said. Their credit cards were soon used at a San Ramon Target. Pleasanton police worked with San Ramon police to track down surveillance footage of the suspects and their car. San Ramon police found the car and arrested the three people. A loaded gun was found in the car, police said. Police urge people to be aware of their surroundings and call 925-931-5100 to report suspicious activity.
