Press release from the Pleasanton Police Department: April 11, 2021 The City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Department are excited to welcome police dispatcher Michelle Pineda. Prior to joining Pleasanton Police Department, Pineda was a dispatcher for Yolo County Emergency Communications Agency, where she dispatched for four police departments and 18 fire agencies. She was first inspired to become a dispatcher when she received a recruitment e-mail several years ago. She has a bachelor's degree in social work from Sacramento State University and is a graduate of Colusa High School. "I am excited to be part of this community and look forward to helping those in need," said dispatcher Michelle Pineda.
