PITTSBURGH, PA — New Pittsburgh Penguins general manager Ron Hextall has made his first trade with the team, acquiring Los Angeles Kings winger Jeff Carter from the Los Angeles Kings. In exchange for Carter, the Penguins will send a 2022 conditional third-round pick and a 2023 conditional fourth-round pick to the Kings. The Penguins announced the trade early on Monday.
