consider myself a safe and fun person with a passion for taking care of kids and their families. I'm learning to utilize the RIE approach when supporting, communicating, and nurturing children, especially toddlers with love and respect. Of course, I’m open to different parenting styles and enjoy working with parents to tailor a consistent approach that meets their goals and preferences. Children and I enjoy each other's presence, we have a lot of fun together whether it be playing indoor games like hide and seek, singing, doing crafts or going to parks and other enriching environments. All this is based upon the parents' comfort level. This past year I learned about Baby College, a free program that facilitates caregivers and children learning about education through the use of nature, play and interaction with other children. In addition to helping with everything child related, I’m also flexible and happy to do light shopping and run errands when time permits. Other reasons why I’m a good candidate: Experience - Love working with children and have more than 10 years of childcare experience - Taken numerous child development classes.
