Karen Kumar is a Certified Master Gardener with the Maricopa County Master Gardener Program. She has lived and gardened in the Gulf Coast, the Midwest, New England, and since 2004, in the Desert Southwest. By far, gardening in the desert has been the most challenging and gratifying for Karen. She has learned by trial and error and observing her garden across the seasons. Karen is also a certified speech-language pathologist and an avid hiker.
