DOYLESTOWN, PA — Here's what's happening this week in the Doylestown area. Monday The Doylestown Borough Zoning and Planning Committee will meet at 7 p.m. via Zoom. The committee plans to vote on a preliminary and final review of a subdivision and land development plan for 333 N. Broad St., the former Intelligencer property. Villanova-based developer Cornerstone Tract, LLC is proposing to build 233 apartments, 10,000 feet of commercial space and a parking garage at the property. The school board will consider appointing Dr. Abram Lucabaugh, Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education, as interim superintendent following the sudden resignation of John Kopicki. The board will also consider adding modified quarantine to its health and safety plan.The New Britain Borough Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom. The council will consider the acceptance of resignation of Borough Manager Samantha Bryant. The competition has selected the finalists, who will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges in Delaware Valley University's Life Sciences Building auditorium. The competition will be livestreamed from 5:30 to 8 p.m. so that the public can watch the businesses make their pitches.
