Modern hard-rock / alt.metal band Major Moment is looking for a drummer. Our band consists of career-oriented hard-working musicians, and we take everything we do seriously (yet, have fun doing it). In 3 years since its inception, the band has made a lot of noise not only in the Boston music scene but worldwide, recorded 2 EPs, 4 singles, and 4 acoustic tracks (produced and engineered by Kevin Billingslea of the Halo Studio, and mastered by a 6-time Grammy winner Adam Ayan), shot 4 music videos (with Revelry Studios and Project 2 Studios (Token, Joyner Lucas, Chris Brown, etc.), gained almost 1M streams on Spotify and 1M views on YouTube, received international coverage in major press outlets, TV, and radio, received multiple songwriting and film awards, gigged locally and internationally, and performed at the 2019 Winter NAMM Show. We are on a mission to push as far as we possibly can. We would love to have a band member of our age. Unfortunately, this won’t be the right fit for you, if... ✕ you are looking to get paid when other members don’t. We would love to find a team member, not a session player. We are also working hard on getting more paid gigs and opportunities in the future. ✕ you JUST want to play your instrument, have fun and "see where this goes" (this usually goes nowhere). ✕ you are not willing to put any time and money into the band. We can't believe we have to state the obvious but things like paying rent for the rehearsal space, recording / promo expenses, transportation, and accommodations while on tour should be expected to be split evenly between all members. If you can help with designing, video editing, new content creation, email pitches, etc. we will go farther faster. ✕ you don't have a car... well, yep, that's not gonna work.
