We're seeking an awesome, energetic person to provide part-time summer care for our two boys, ages 8 and 11. Both are bundles of big energy who love active outdoor play (as in, they are psyched to hike Front Range peaks, mountain bike, play soccer, and go fishing). Sound interesting? Where — we live in Midtown, Anchorage When — we need care 8 hours per day, 3 days per week, for most weeks from May 24 through August 13 Who — our ideal caregiver would be a fun-loving, dependable person, who really enjoys spending time outdoors with kids. Additionally, the ideal candidate would be: - a physically fit non-smoker with no cat allergies - experienced handling multiple kids, mediating disputes as needed - an owner of a reliable car and a clean driving record - amenable to a background check - safety conscious, particularly with bears/moose - happy to keep the phone put away for the day What is the pay? — $15-20/hr How will we navigate COVID? — we will talk through this before the summer begins, but plan on following the latest guidelines from the state and municipality.
