Publix Now Vaccinating In NC: How To Make An Appointment

MOORESVILLE, NC — Select Publix grocery store pharmacies in North Carolina, including in Iredell County, are now taking appointments to administer Moderna COVID vaccines. North Carolina fully opened up vaccine eligibility last week, which means anyone in the state 16 years old or older who wants one may get one. "Vaccination appointments are scheduled online only," the company said. "Appointments cannot be made by calling Publix or the Publix Pharmacy." The store's online system provides visibility of vaccine availability on a county level. According to the Publix NC COVID vaccine website, at least 64 percent of appointments remained available in Iredell County. The Iredell County Publix location offering vaccinations as of April 12 is the Statesville store, located at 134 Venture Lane in North Pointe Shopping Center.
