Our eCommerce Facility in the Morena District (near Old Town San Diego) is currently hiring for various positions. Full-Time (32-40 Hours Per Week) Part-Time (20-25 Hours Per Week) Full-Time eCommerce Associate I and Part-Time eCommerce Associate I: $14/hr. Production position in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsible for processing donations for online sale including, but not limited to: data entry, cell phone photography, stocking, picking, shipping and customer service. 1. Sorts and prepares incoming product for online sale according to department guidelines, accurately completing computerized forms with appropriate details. 2. Takes representative photographs that accurately convey product information and condition details. 3. Uses appropriate SEO keywords in auction titles and includes relevant product information and specific condition details in auction descriptions. 4. Ensures posted items follow all applicable marketplace guidelines, GISD’s policies/procedures, and state/federal laws. 5. Accurately stocks, picks, packages and ships product according to department guidelines. 6. Addresses a variety of customer inquiries according to department guidelines. 7. Meets minimum production requirements and keeps up with the average worker on their team. 8. Properly uses/maintains equipment and follows safety guidelines when processing and moving product. 9. Keeps all workstations and processing areas clean and organized. Completes general warehouse housekeeping duties as assigned. 10. Follows direction and completes other miscellaneous duties/tasks as assigned. Full-Time eCommerce Supervisor: Starting at $16/hr. Responsible for assisting the management team in the daily operations of the department including scheduling, payroll, ensuring production/quality is maintained and that policies/procedures are followed. 1. Assists management in creating an environment where transformational leadership is applied. Assists in engaging, motivating and developing staff to increase productivity and achieve departmental goals. 2. Oversees preparation and daily communication of assignments and other information the team. Leads team huddles, exercises, and trainings according to management direction. 3. Monitors and reports on performance goals and work quality of direct reports. Takes appropriate action when expectations are not met according to management direction. 4. Monitors the time and attendance of direct reports. Takes appropriate action when expectations are not met according to management direction. 5. Ensures that behavior/conduct of direct reports meets company standards. Takes appropriate action when expectations are not met according to management direction. 6. Ensures that direct reports follow GISD policy and procedures. Takes appropriate actions when expectations are not met according to management direction. 7. Meets deadlines in preparing drafts of performance evaluations, 5-minute goal setting conversations, work schedules, and other department paperwork/documentation. 9. Resolves issues that arise from production/processing errors and identifies areas for continuous improvement and training. 10. Addresses a variety of customer inquiries according to department guidelines. 11. Ensures new hires are thoroughly trained and able to meet department expectations. 12. Able to perform work activities of subordinates at a high level of production and quality. 13. Opens and closes location(s) according to department guidelines. 14. Completes other duties as assigned. - Education: BA or BS preferred - Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in related field upon hire or 3 to 5 years of GISD experience in level 3 or 4 position, or combination of past experience and GISD experience equaling 5 years. - Certificates & Licenses: Must have a CA Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Goodwill’s insurance company requirements. Must also have an insured, reliable vehicle. - Work Schedule: 5 days per week including weekends Full-Time eCommerce Assistant Manager: Starting at $19/hr. Responsible for assisting the Manager in the daily operations of the department including achieving revenue and production goals, satisfactorily addressing employee relations issues, safety/loss prevention compliance, customer/donor satisfaction and all related administration. Able to assume full responsibility for daily operations in the absence of the Manager. 1. Assists Manager in ensuring department revenues are achieved. 2. Assists with monitoring marketplace specific sales, metrics, and key performance indicators to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality merchandise. 3. Collaborates with Manager to adjust strategy based on staffing levels, product flow and other key performance indicators. 4. Creates an environment where transformational leadership is applied. Motivates, engages, and develops staff to increase productivity and achieve departmental goals. 5. Assists with implementation of departmental and organizational initiatives and ensuring their timely completion. 6. Delegates effectively and holds supervisors accountable to goals and deadlines in order to achieve strategic goals and initiatives. 7. Ensures supervisors effectively communicate daily assignments and other information to the team as directed by Manager. Ensures team huddles, exercises, and trainings are performed according to company guidelines. 8. Ensures that performance standards, behavior/conduct, time/attendance, and policies/procedures adherence is monitored. Provides support to supervisors according to company guidelines and Manager direction when expectations are not met. 9. Assists in ensuring that performance evaluations, 5-minute goal setting conversations, progressive discipline, and other department paperwork/documentation is delivered on time and according to company guidelines. 10. Ensures employment relationship issues are resolved according to the organization’s best practices, culture, core values, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. 11. Ensures the work environment is supplied, safe, clean, organized, and well-maintained. 12. Resolves complex issues that arise from production/processing errors and identifies areas for continuous improvement and training. 13. Addresses complex customer inquiries according to department guidelines and identifies areas for continuous improvement and training. 14. Safeguards company property, including donated goods. 15. Opens and closes location(s) according to department guidelines. 16. Follows directions and completes other duties as assigned. - Education: High School education/GED and Associates degree, Certification in related field, or combination of education and experience in related field equaling 2-year degree preferred - Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in related field upon hire or 3 to 5 years of GISD experience in level 5 or 6 position, or combination of past experience and GISD experience equaling 5 years - Certificates & Licenses: Must have a CA Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Goodwill’s insurance company requirements. Must also have an insured, reliable vehicle. Full-Time eCommerce Administrative Process Specialist: Starting at $16/hr. Responsible for providing administrative and process support to the e-Commerce Department, aiding in its overall efficiency and effectiveness. Completes a variety of administrative assignments and assists in departmental process and improvement projects. 1. Assists in coordinating operational workflow by scheduling, attending and reporting on various tasks, projects, meetings, events and off-site activities. 2. Coordinates, trains and coaches personnel on process improvement methodology and application. Reports issues/concerns and recommends solutions to leadership. 3. Compiles, analyzes, manipulates and forecasts data accurately and efficiently from a wide range of sources using Microsoft Excel. 4. Creates and revises reports, procedures, trainings, presentations, manuals, newsletters and other documents using the Microsoft 365 suite. 5. Monitors policies & procedures, organizational initiatives and legal requirements for change and tracks implementation to completion. 6. Reviews auction postings and sales trends to identify and recommend improvements in selection, processing and listing of donations for online sale. 7. Maintains and updates department SharePoint sites, calendars, and other tools and resources, creating content as directed. 8. Assists in ordering and tracking departmental purchases, researching and recommending cost effective alternatives as directed. 9. Organizes administrative and process support functions according to deadlines, establishing priorities of current and anticipated workload. 10. Maintains positive customer, donor, vendor and interdepartmental communications at all times 11. Provides in-depth research and concise reporting on various topics as directed by management. 12.
