Jeff Schoep was the leader of the national largest Nero nazi group in America for over 20 years. He was the poster boy for white supremacy in America. He dedicated his life to this cause. Jeff Schoep has had a change of heart. He no longer supports hate. He no longer agrees with white supremacy. He has denounced his former participation as leader of this hate group. Jeff realized that the does not want to raise his 5 kids in a caustic environment. He now speaks out against racism and white supremacy. It takes a very big person to admit when they are wrong. It takes a huge man who was once the poster boy for hate to admit that he was wrong. Jeff has not only denounced his racist past, he now speaks out against it. Jeff is actively working to end racism and speak out against new nazi groups. If a man like Jeff Schoep can change his ways and his attitude 180 degrees, we can each find ways to improve our own behaviors. Jeff was a villain and has become a hero. Jeff is doing what he feels is right despite the tremendous risk to himself. His life is in danger. His family is in danger. He receives threats on a regular basis. And yet... he continues to speak out and do what he feels it right. One more example of love overcoming hate.
