Join us on Sunday, April 25th at the Rockland Harbor Park to clean up and collect trash along the Rockland Harborside!
We will be meeting at 9:45 am at the Rockland Harbor Park, then breaking into multiple groups to clean up along the Rockland Harbor Trail. The Rockland Harbor Trail stretches from Snow Marine Park to the Breakwater. Most cleanup areas are within walking distance, but there is the option to drive, bike, or skateboard to different locations.
The Rockland Harborside Cleanup Map will be available to show the locations of cleanup areas.
Participants will be provided with trash bags, vests, trash pickers, and name tags. We will have some gloves available, but please bring your own if you can. Proper use of masks and social distancing is required.
- Light refreshments will be available before the event.
This event is being hosted by the Good Tern Co-op, with the support of several local organizations:
The City of Rockland, Rockland Harbor Trail Committee, Rockland Parks and Recreation Committee, Rockland Main Street LLC, George's River Land Trust, Hurricane Island Center, Rockland Sail, Power & Steam Museum, The Landing Place, and many more!
