Train at Maryland Systema and learn this devastating yet flexible fighting and self-defense system used by the Russian Special Operations! Learn from one of just a few of the Certified Systema Instructors on the East Coast. Your first class is FREE! The Sunday class is from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM at the King Farm Village Center in Rockville. The central park area is across from the Coffee Republic with lots of free parking behind this coffee shop. Classes are open to anyone 18 years or older, and there are no contracts, no uniforms, and no special equipment to buy. We welcome men and women of all fitness and skill levels, even if you have zero self-defense or martial arts experience. Learn to : Defend from guns, knives, sticks, bats, chains, and multiple attackers. Handle unarmed or armed assaults in any situation or terrain from standing to ground. Find inner structures to enhance your other martial arts skills and training. Use bodyweight and internal leverage instead of brute strength to overcome bigger, meaner, and more aggressive opponents. Hit harder than you ever thought possible. Build deep reserves of inner and outer strength, adaptability and awareness. Heal old injuries (misalignments, joint damage, scar tissue). Build phenomenal levels of health and combat skill. Increase agility, mobility, and flexibility and move like a much younger person. Please wear a mask and comfortable clothes including long pants or trousers. You will be required to sign our Waiver Form. Subsequent classes are $20 each with a discount offered on our monthly rate that also entitles you to discounts on Maryland Systema Seminars and Events, Private Lessons, Systema branded clothing as well as instructional materials (books, DVD's, etc.).
