I foster guinea pigs, do health checks on them, and work alongside rescues to find the best placement for these little furry potatoes. Up for adoption is a 1 year old male named Theo. He was originally from a pet store, hopped between stores and given back to the stores due to his aggression. I tried every male I had for adoption and he was attacking them, even breaking out of other cages to get to them. He is very aggressive and cannot be housed with other guinea pigs. He can be in the same room with other guinea pigs, just not cage up against cage. When he isn't with other guinea pigs, he is extremely lovable and well tempered. It's just something about being by himself that he prefers. You are required to provide me pictures of your set up and tell me a bit of how much you know about these animals. Guinea pigs and other small animals, regardless of what is told, are not good starter pets for kids. They are high maintenance creatures, and because of this are intended for adults to house.
