We want to honor these foster youth who will soon be aging out and moving into independent living apartments.
SAFY has successfully maintained a 100% HS graduation rate for our High School students. This is a rarity in the foster care community. We want to honor these foster youth who will soon be aging out and moving into independent living apartments.
While they are able to access the necessities, we want to help them with all of the little "extras" that can be harder to access when being launched into the adult world without stability of safe and healthy parental involvement.
When thinking back to the little extra's you wanted when moving into your first place, those are things we're looking for for our teens. As well as gift cards to help them purchase things such as food and bus passes.
At this time we do not have the capacity to store larger furniture items. But hope to do that in the future.
New or gently used items can be donated.
You can use the below Amazon link for inspiration or purchase directly through the link.*
