Are you reliable, dependable, and honest? If so, we’d like to connect with you! We are seeking hardworking, motivated individuals to join our cleaning team to prepare three vacation rentals between guests. Our aim is to create a welcoming environment for guests by ensuring units are cared for and cleaned to high standards. Cleaning jobs occur all days of the week on Munjoy Hill in Portland. We provide all supplies. Available days can and will vary weekly and seasonally based on existing reservations. We’re nearly booked from May to October and can confirm dates needed for cleaning. Depending on what you’re looking for, part-time can be as little as one 4-hour shift a week or as much as 20+ hours per week, usually between 10 am to 4 pm. You can work independently or could share the workload with a friend if you prefer to work as a team. Join us and help deliver 5-star service to our guests! Requirements: - A strong work ethic and consistent performance - Be respectful and friendly - Have strong prioritization and time management skills - Remain active for the duration of a shift - Can stand for extended periods of time, bend, kneel and lift over 30 pounds - Have a smartphone with camera for communication purposes - Excellent verbal communication skills - Previous experience cleaning houses preferred, but not required. Must: - Take pride in a job well done! - Work well independently and take initiative! - Have a positive, can-do attitude! Responsibilities include: - Make beds and set out towels for guests - Vacuum, Mop, Sweep, Dust, Disinfect surfaces - Clean all rooms: bedrooms, living room, hallway, dining room - Clean kitchen (dishes, pots/pans as needed, cabinets, stove, refrigerator) - Clean bathroom - Assist with laundry as needed - Restock and arrange supplies - Replenish consumable items such as soaps, snacks, and paper products - Collect and remove trash and recyclables to designated trash room. - Notify owner of any damages, maintenance issues or inventory deficits. - Other responsibilities as assigned - because every day looks different!
