I've been playing guitar for 50 plus years and now it's time to sell the Marshall and the Strats and settle down to play some old time acoustic tunes and blues. I also play old time banjo, a little slide and can sing most songs well enough to get through the song and keep it moving, but I am no canary. Looking for a fiddler, guitar, mandolin player, or ?, preferably someone that has been at it for a while and has lots of tunes in their head. Neither one of us wants to drive too far. Not talking about country or bluegrass. Blues and Old Time. Steve Earle, Mississippi John Hurt, Clifton Hicks, Johnny Winter (his acoustic stuff), Robert Johnson, Riley Baugus, Adam Hurt.
