HOUSEKEEPER – NANNY - COOK ***Looking for long -term BUT would be willing to interview a college student looking for a summer job and then we would try to find our permanent person at the end of summer***** Our family has had the same full-time Nanny for the past three years. She is now going on to new adventures in her life, and we are looking for a person to replace her and become part of our family. We are a family of 7, 2 adults and 5 boys, ages 5 years to 15 years. We live in a 4500 sq ft home and have a dog, 3 cats, and chickens. All the boys will attend school full-time in Fall 2021. Currently they all attend school full-time M-F, except the 5-year-old who attends Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 8:30 – 11:30am. I am looking for someone Monday - Friday who can keep the house clean and organized, do laundry, cook meals, and help with the children when they are home from school. Here is a sample but hours could vary a little: Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm until now until June 16th Monday – Friday, 9am – 3pm from June 17th to August 19th $350.00 a week to start with above hours but could increase due to hours or good work ethic. After the summer, we will see how it is working and adjust the hours to work with the children’s school, sport, and activity calendars. It will still be Monday – Friday and could vary from 7am to 4pm. Here are some of the current duties our Nanny does: 1. Keeps the house cleaned and organized. I am looking for a person who really knows how to clean, cleans areas of the house when they need cleaning and keeps the house organized, not just picked up. 2. Experience with cooking a variety of meals 3. Completes a weekly or monthly dinner calendar so we can shop for what is needed 4. Prepares & cooks dinner daily. Has experience cooking a variety of family meals. 5. Prepares lunches, snacks or other small meals if needed 6. Laundry (there is always laundry with 5 boys!) 7. Changes bedding 8. Occasionally grocery shops or does other shopping 9. Runs errands if needed (library, post office) (Uses Our Mini-Van) 10. Occasionally picks up and drops off the children for school or various other sporting or other activities (Uses Our Mini-Van) 11. Helps with the garden at times 12. Helps take care of the boys with daily activities, homework, or just overall supervision when they are home from school. 13. Has the ability to have the boys help around the house, make sure they are doing their chores correctly, and having them help complete various tasks around the house. Overall, we are looking for a “KEEPER OF THE HOUSE, FAMILY, & CHILDREN”. I would like to find someone in our area of Deer Park / Elk. We are looking for a person who can make sure the house stays clean and tidy, prepares dinner daily and just makes sure the children and house are running smoothly. MUST PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND PROVIDE A COPY OF DRIVING RECORD. CPR & First Aid is desired and if you do not have it, we will pay for you to attend the class to be certified.
