I’m looking for a strong motivated landscaping assistant for a small family run landscaping company here in Fort Collins. We maintain and create gardens in the front range area primarily in the Fort Collins area. I am looking to hire a independent contractor/contract employe for the current season and beyond. We do not do any mowing or lawn maintenance. We are currently hiring for Spring cleanups and installations. Please have a clean driving record and reliable transportation. I am happy to train someone but some working knowledge of horticulture and landscape maintenance is preferred. I will be returning emails and calls in the evenings mostly so please be patient with me. Applicants should have the following: • Can lift 50lbs. when needed. • A positive attitude. • An ability to problems solve on site. • Knowledge of plants and horticulture. • Skill at maintenance and gardening. • Eye for detail and patience for detail oriented work. • A clean appearance for a professional work setting. • The ability to take notes and direction to carry out tasks. • Non-smoker is preferred. • Courteous and outgoing to customers and vendors. • A desire to learn and grow. • Punctual and professional at all times. This position starts at $13-$16 per hour, DOE. There will be raises for quality work and growth over time. I’m looking for somebody that I can invest in that will grow with the company and take on more responsibilities over time.
