Two Parakeets and Flight Cage

Chickpea and Karma are two best friends looking for a new home. They will come with their A&E flight cage, all their toys, their seed, pellets and their play stand. Chickpea is a sweet blue and white mottled parakeet and loves to sing. She will sometimes even have conversations with you! She loves to play and chew on things, and loves shredding paper. She is not hand tame, but will sometimes calm down enough to step up and is definitely young enough to still become tame. Right now she looks really scruffy but that's because she's going through her first ever molt! Karma is the blue opaline parakeet and is a shy bird. She had some issues with being bullied by other birds in the past because of how gentle and skittish she is, but she has found her best friend. Because of this I want these two to stay together, with no new friends. Despite being skittish, she actually will eat from your hand when she feels safe enough, and will climb onto you to enjoy her seed. She is not hand tame and will not step up. Handling has to be on her terms and taken very slowly with lots of treats. She's content to sit and relax with you by her cage and is a perfect reading partner though! These two girls are both eating Higgins seed, and Roudybush pellets. They are still unsure about the pellets and veggies, but are warming up to them, especially their leafy greens! The girls and their cage are $150, and I may be willing to adopt just the girls if you already have a similarly sized cage. Also, if you're wondering if Karma has been posted on here before, yes she was up for adoption with a different bird. That bird attacked and injured her. We kept her until she healed and has settled in with a different bird so we could make sure she is healthy and happy before she goes off to her forever home. Please don't flag.
