nearly all puppies here on CL are either scams, from dubious backyard breeders that keep the parent dogs in deplorable conditions, or are brought in from out of state by puppy mill breeders. Many of these dogs are kept outside and as they are not vaccinated - have Parvo. They are usually too young to leave the parents dogs. IF you insist on buying dogs on CL demand to visit and meet the family, see the parent dogs - especially where and how mom is kept and most importantly ask for vaccination/vet records of the mom. Even a family, legitimate oopsie litter should be willing to provide you with local legitimate records and NEVER send someone on CL a deposit without having met them at their home in person! Almost all CL kittens are under the age of 8 weeks - which will most certainly lead to behavior issues later on and potentially also health trouble. There is no such thing as a bargain puppy. Puppies and kittens are in high demand and if there is someone offering you a bargain there is something wrong and it will cost you... heartache and very high vet bills! The best, healthiest and problem free puppies and kitten grow up in loving families - not in sheds, backyards, barns or cages!
