Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver / Installer for Vancouver Furniture store needs to fill a position for warehouse and delivery. You would be involved in every phase of moving product from factory to consumer. We are looking for a key person to grow with us for the long term and become an integral part of our team. Unload shipments as they arrive throughout the week Stage sold products in will call area Put away unsold products in their proper warehouse location Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment Load delivery trucks and customer' vehicles Furniture assembly and repairs when necessary Manage and maintain a safe tools and parts area Deliver and install of all types of furniture, including bedroom, dining room, living room Requirements: A very high degree of attention to detail Valid drivers license and a good driving record Excellent verbal communication skills Knowledge and use of small power and hand tools Critical thinker / problem solver Heavy lifting is required A great attitude and a desire to do your best Must pass background check No CDL Required! Preferred but not required Forklift certification Previous warehouse or delivery experience This is a highly varied jack-of-all-trades type position. Provide excellent customer service as you load customer's vehicles. Attention to detail and accuracy is a must. Delivery and installation in customers homes will be provided with the utmost courtesy and care. Ensure our truck and warehouse are properly maintained & organized to be successful. This is a critical role in the day-to-day operations that will influence and contribute to the overall success of our store. Hiring for part time and full time 24 to 40 hours per week. Weekends are our busy times so weekends are required to work. Other days are flexible and negotiable. Perks: Your birthday is a paid holiday!
