Chautauqua Road Band (CRB) is a 4-piece band that delivers a dynamic arsenal of classic rock favorites from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. We are looking for a person to provide live sound and lights operation for approximately 6 live performances currently scheduled June through Sept 2021. Most performances are outside venue city festivals, 3 or 4 hours in duration, located within a couple hours of Des Moines. Duties will include the following: • Assist with Loading, unloading our provided live sound audio and lighting equipment • Stage setup, running cables, microphones, audio snake, lights • Mixing stand setup • Audio mix front-of-house and 4 separate monitor mixes (mostly in-ear) • Conduct pre-performance sound check • Live performance sound mix and lights Requirements: • Familiarity with multi channel mixing board • Familiarity with live audio equipment and live audio acoustics • Familiarity with live performance audio setup, cabling, speakers, EQ, etc. • Learn our setlists and perform cued live performance adjustments and enhancements • Learn live lighting and perform cued live performance adjustments and enhancements • Attendance at enough band rehearsals to facilitate familiarity with the equipment and the music
