Part-time Salsa/Dance Teacher needed! $10-$25/hr + training!

Avant Garden Ballroom Academy is taking applications for a part-time DANCE INSTRUCTOR. You will be needed to teach and assist in our private lessons, and dance events (when they start again). You must be confident and people oriented. One of the most important parts of the job is being able to confidently welcome students into our class, and be loud enough for them to hear us, in a night club setting. You must be 21 or over. It is expected that most candidates will have a day job or a school schedule. That is fine, but you must be available certain afternoons or evenings (usually Monday - Thursday), and a few hours on Sunday afternoon. The total time commitment is only approximately 4 to 8 hours per week, until you begin to build up your private lessons. You will be paid approximately $12-$15 per hour, to teach private lessons, depending on the class/event. You will also receive on-going dance training! Our training times are on Sunday afternoon at our home studio, on Menaul Near Wyoming. You will be trained in about 12 different Latin, Ballroom, and Country dances. This is a great opportunity to become a dance teacher, if you've got what it takes. Experienced teachers make up to $25 per hour for events! It is important that you are positive and out-going, and that you are able to assist/teach in front of a class. Previous Dance Training is great, but we will train the right person, and, in that case, you will be considered an intern until you are trained. If you are a good match for the job, you will be invited to stay on, and become a member of the Avant Garden Dance Team! I have been teaching dance for 26 years, and have had the opportunity to learn from some of the best dancers in the world.
