Jackie's mom died and he needs a new home

Our mom died and left behind her 9-year-old mixed-breed neutered boy Jackie. Neither of us can accommodate him, so we're looking for a new home. He is very sweet, gentle, and loyal, very friendly and good with kids, basically a golden retriever type of dog. Up to date on all of his shots, about 90 pounds. He seems to be allergic to dairy and has a history of chasing cats outside (but he's fine with them indoors for some reason). His favorite thing in the world is going for drives and sticking his head out the window. He'd be a great addition to an active family or as a companion for another older person.
