Description
I have a 2007 Ford F-450 XL Super Duty Power Stroke Turbo Diesel V8 that needs some work done. Here is the stroy, I bought the truck in November last year via a auction in Portland but the truck comes from California. After driving it to Port Orchard from Portland I decided it wasn't running in perfect condition so I had someone look at it, he told me to do a tune up so I bought plugs, air filter, oil and filter. After he performed this work the truck "broke down" on the highway after being drove for 2 miles. After limping it back home I had him look at it again and he said the turbo intake had "blown off" so he just had to reconnect that. Then after driving the truck 10 miles it broke down again on the highway. He said I needed a new battery so I bought that but it still wouldn't start so I had it towed back to my house. He looked at it again and said I needed a new fuel control module so I bought that. After installation he said it wasn't programmed for my truck so I needed a new power supply repair board for the FICM so I bought that. Also he said to get the glow plug kit so he could replace it. Yesterday the new battery was dead so I took it to Oreily's and had it charged and he told me he needs another tool to finish the glow plugs which is partially done at this time. So today he says he doesn't know whats wrong with it and he is just trying to figure it out and after A LOT of money being spent on parts and paying him I have lost faith that he is capable of getting this done so I have let him go. I know it is a lot to read but I can walk you thru what has happened and hopefully someone can figure this out. I will happily buy any parts needed to complete this and pay you cash after completion. Please call, text or email and we can chat, thanks 360-228-2298
