Every month, year after year, several cases are reprinted from newspapers from around the country describing actual situations where private citizens used a firearm to protect themselves, their family or other law abiding citizens. In addition, many submissions cannot be published simply due to magazine space limitations. Normally these stories are not publicized by the mainstream media because it doesn’t fit their personal agenda. It happens a lot more than you might think. Law enforcement personnel rarely stop crime. Usually they can only investigate a crime after it occurs.
