"Wouldn't It Be Nice" if musicians DIDN'T have to make political statements and just played as many gigs as they could stand. It ain't like that at all, and even when we could play as many gigs as we could stand, we had foreign peaceniks exhorting us to "Please Come To Chicago", and warning us about "Four Dead in Ohio". I'm still waiting for Ol' Neil to warn us about "Four Dead In Benghazi". But I digress... Politics DOES impact musicians, and politicians are why most of y'all can't get ANY gigs.
