He joined Inova Medical Group with over 28 years of clinical experience.Dr. Brideau had an active primary care practice in the Springfield/Franconia/Alexandria area for 20 years. The past 6 years he served as the chief medical officer at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital and for the past 18 months as the hospital's chief operating officer.Dr. Brideau became interested in cosmetic dermatology 10 years ago as an extension of his primary care dermatology services. He has acted as the course director of cosmetic laser, BOTOX® and fillers for the American Academy of Family Physicians, training over 3,000 physicians. He understands that his primary care patients trust their physician to perform procedures for which they are trained. They also trust their physician will recommend against procedures that would not necessarily be helpful and when referrals are necessary.
