The Bootstrap Music Co. is located in the SoDo area of Seattle. We currently have an open position. Duties will include janitorial maintenance of the facilities, bar-tending, and basic audio stuff. Must have good working knowledge of mixers (the audio kind, not the alcohol kind), and no problems with cleaning toilets. Fringe benefits include access to music rehearsal studios. The pay is $17 per hour (plus tips). This is for Sundays only from 1:30 - 7:45pm. Additional hours on other days may become available later on. You will have the opportunity to branch out into other music-related work (live sound etc..), but your job, first and foremost will be janitorial. You will be charged with cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping etc.... I am the owner of the company and I still do my share of cleaning. That's just to say that the glamorous parts only come with a good dose of the dirty work. Show that you can do a good job there, and more opportunities will be available. Access to the rehearsal studios comes with the position. So, someone who wants to pursue their music without the cost of rehearsal space will benefit most from this. Must be 21 or older. Must live within King County. Must know how to clean a toilet. Must be sober. Must have basic knowledge of audio mixers / music equipment.
