SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Absentee and early voting ballots for the Swampscott town election are now available for those applying.
Early, in-person voting for the April 27 election begins April 17 at Swampscott Town Hall.
Absentee ballots are available for registered voters who cannot vote in person on election day because they are not in town, have a disability or have a religious conflict. Absentee ballot applications must be submitted to the town clerk's office by noon on April 25 either in person or through email at [email protected].
No excuse early voting is also being allowed in the state again this spring with those applications due by April 21 either in person or via email at [email protected].
Absentee and early voting ballots are due back at the clerk's office by the time polls close on election day. They can be dropped off at the town hall dropbox 24 hours a day, delivered to the clerk's office during business hours or dropped off during early in-person voting.
Early in-person voting will be at town hall from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 17, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 19, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 20, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 21, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 22 and 8 a.m. to noon on April 23.
