Listen Now is a space for healing through music, nature, and community. This event will feature live harp music and music of plants. Andrea Cortez of Mind Body Music Center and Derek Lively of Insid3Out will create a unique outdoors experience at Tree Garden, bringing together 3 healing elements: Music, Nature, and Community. This will be a space to restore from busy schedules and accumulated stress. The art of listening deeply will be the practice for this evening to bring peace into the heart, body, and mind. Andrea will play live harp and plant music using a device that allows her plants to generate their own sounds. This musical improvisation will be a spontaneous interplay between harp and plant. Derek and Andrea will create space to connect with eachother in the beautiful surroundings of Tree Garden.
