BEVERLY, MA — A months-long drug investigation in Beverly led to a pair of recent arrests on charges of fentanyl and cocaine possession with intent to distribute, police said. The Beverly Police Drug Control unit said the probe was in the area of Judson Street in downtown Beverly and was initiated based on neighbor reports. Police said on March 22, Adinazio Dias-Barbosa, of Port Washington, N.Y., was charged with trafficking more than 10 grams of fentanyl as well as possession with intent to distribute cocaine. On April 6, police said Khris Lara, of Salem, was charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and cocaine. Police said both men charged are members of a notorious Northshore drug trafficking organization. EDITOR'S NOTE: Information for this article was supplied by the Beverly Police Department.
