Join us at Easterseals Central Texas for an exciting job as a Landscaping Crew Member for the (Seasonal) Litter Control Team at River Parks Mission: To change the way the world defines and views disability by making profound, positive differences in people's lives every day, Please view the website to learn about our organization and the landscaping program: Easterseals Serving Central Texas | Paid Job Training www.Easterseals.com/centraltx Job Title: Landscaping Crew Member for the Seasonal Litter Control Team Location: River Parks, San Marcos, Central Texas FLSA Status: Non- Exempt Position Type: Part Time Temporary Wage: $10 per hour Position Summary: The Landscaping Crew member will work on a seasonal team engaging in litter control at San Marcos River Parks from May – September 2021. · Work hours are from 2:00 p.m. up to 10:00 p.m. weekends (Saturday and Sundays) and holidays · It is mandatory for the crew member to work all the weekends and holiday from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend! Essential Functions: · Walk grounds picking up litter and disposing in trash containers, or trash trailer · Empty trash containers regularly · Take trailer to COSM dump site and empty throughout the day · Report unsafe or dangerous activities to the Park Police · Maintain the restrooms: keeping clean, sanitized, and supplied with products · Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided Education and Experience: • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must complete first aid and CPR certification as offered through Easter Seals – Central Texas.
