Description
Hi, I posted this a while ago, but life (and the world) got weird for a minute and nothing came of it. If you replied before, feel free to reach out again. I am committed to exploring this.
I am looking for some folks to start an acoustic project with. I am 40 years old, male, and I play guitar and mandolin, along with banjo, percussion, drums, ukulele, and, well,... pretty much anything else you put in front of me. I can sing, and I have some original material and know probably 1,000 or more covers.
I’m looking for another multi instrumentalist or two (or however many we can find), who might be interested in exploring a project without necessarily having a goal in mind. Sort of a “see what happens” kind of thing. It would be great to find another guitar/mandolin player. Ideally I would like to be able to play different instruments throughout a set.
I’m into all kinds of music, from Grateful Dead to pop, rap, even some country, Americana, etc.... I have a bunch of original tunes I’d like to work up and eventually record.
I’m pretty good, but not elite. You be you, just know how to jam - and be cool. It can be work sometimes to rehearse and write material. I want to be good, but I don’t want it to be all work. We should still be trying to have fun and play from our hearts and not strictly from rote memorization.
If interested, let’s talk!
P.S. Must believe in Magic.
