BURNSVILLE, MN— New details were released Friday in the Easter Sunday crash that killed two people in Burnsville. The Burnsville Police Department announced Friday that the crash that killed two 22-year-olds on Easter Sunday was caused by two vehicles racing. The two victims were identified as Dalton Ford and Tayler Garza, of Prescott, Wisconsin. Two vehicles were racing eastbound on County Road 42, the department said. A vehicle was hit by one of the racing vehicles after it had turned to go south on Newton Avenue, officials said. Both Ford and Garza died from blunt force injuries during the accident, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner said. The two were dating and worked together at Vino in the Valley, the winery said in a Facebook post. Two 17-year-olds were also involved in the crash and were taken to the hospital, officials said. Officials did not provide details about who was inside of each car. Editor's Note: A previous version of this article said the two victims were inside the car that was hit by one of the racing vehicles. It has since been corrected to say that police did not clarify who was traveling in which car.
