Press release from the City of Glendora: April 09, 2021 Please note: The library's main floor reopened to the public April 6 for service Tues/Wed/Thurs 10 am - 4 pm. Library To Go pickup service continues on Mondays and Fridays. Glendora Public Library has something for everyone! All events are proudly presented by the Glendora Public Library and GPL Friends Foundation. April A Series of Unfortunate Events Each weekday at 3, Library staff read each of Lemony Snicket's 13 books to kids via Zoom. Started April 5th! See the library's online calendar. Library Discovery Storytime - Springtime Animals From crunching, munching caterpillars to floating, fluttering butterflies, enjoy some wonderful tales featuring these amazing creatures. Activity kits will be available at the Library for pickup prior to the event. Join by Zoom here. April 7, 10 – 10:30 am Cooking Club Share recipes, talk about how the pandemic changed palates and grocery shopping, and maybe learn a few new skills. April 12, 7:00 - 8:00 pm. Zoom link here Family Trivia Night - Disney Princesses Join Glendora Public Library via Zoom for an evening of friendly competition, fun, trivia, and family time as we see who knows the most about Disney princesses. All ages are welcome. Families are encouraged to play together. April 20, 7:00 – 7:30 pm Join us by clicking here Earth Day Recycling Drive Held at the Teen Center, 241 W. Dawson Ave., back parking lot. Registration required. Deliver used motor oil and filters for recycling. Bring confidential documents for on-site shredding. Drop-off empty CRV beverage containers and help raise funds for the Community Services Foundation. There will be booths and giveaways, live entertainment and a community bike ride.
