PHOENIX, AZ — A man was shot and killed just before midnight Thursday near Cactus Road and 36th Street, according to Phoenix police. Police said the victim was shot after an altercation with another man, who remained on the scene after the shooting. No charges were filed as of Friday morning, and the case was submitted to the Maricopa County Attorney's Office for review, police said. The victim, who was not identified, was transported to a nearby hospital where he died, police said.
