This is the 20th Annual Waterman's Challenge. Come join us for a weekend of fun and surfing. The venue has changed this year to the Hilton, Cocoa Beach, 1550 N. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach. We have a block of rooms at an event room rate of $159 at the Hilton. Call the resort directly, (321)799-0003, and mention the Florida Surf Museum's WATERMAN'S CHALLENGE. On-line registrations closes Tuesday, June 1 at 5:00pm. $25 for first division, $5 for each additional division. ***NO REFUNDS*** If there are slots left you can register in person Friday June, 5-7pm at the Hilton: $35 per division. NO BEACH REGISTRATION. Age Divisions: Men's & Women’s Shortboard/Longboard: 12-18, 19-39, 40-59 and Legends 60 and Up. Menehuene Self Propelled 11 and under Second or subsequent divisions (each): are $5 for each division. They are listed at the bottom of the registration page Rodeo: 30 minute heats; 1st 10 minutes = Shortboard, 2nd 10 min. = Longboard, 3rd 10 min. = twin fin fish. CONTESTANTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN BOARDS. Vintage: Must have been manufactured before 1970, 9'0" or larger, single fin only. CONTESTANTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN BOARD. Trophies in all divisions for 1st through 4th. All entrants receive T-shirt. Museum members will receive $5 credit on their first division entered upon confirmation of membership status. Membership must be current as of May 31. This may take until June 8 to process. Thanks for your patience.
