Join us for tours that illuminate the legacy of those who changed the world through the Civil Rights Movement. Walk in the footsteps of legends like Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth and Rosa Parks. Honor the lives lost during the movement at the site of the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing. Salute heroes A.G. Gaston and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as you walk the path alongside A.G. Gaston Motel and envision their innovative strategic meetings. Most of all, expand your insight and understanding as you explore the historic sites of The Birmingham Civil Rights District that commemorate those who altered history. ​Planning a group outing? Due to Covid 19 health guidelines we have implemented a timed ticketing system and all tickets must be reserved in advance. Tours are scheduled with a maximum capacity of 30 visitors per time slot.
